Ameesha Patel was born on 9 June 1975 Bombay, Maharashtra, India. She is an is an Indian actress and model who predominantly appears in Bollywood. Ameesha, is the daughter of Amit Patel and Asha Patel, sister of Ashmit Patel and the granddaughter of the famous lawyer-politician Barrister Rajni Patel who was the Congress Pradesh Committee President of Mumbai. She studied at the Cathedral and John Connon High School in Bombay, and went on to obtain a degree in Economics from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, U.S.A.
Ameesha first movie was ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ released in 2000 year which was a super hit Bollywood movie. Just after a year she worked in another block buster movie called ‘Gadar Ek Prem Kata’. After that she never looked back and keep working every year.
