Richa Chadda is an Indian actress who has repeatedly garnered accolades through her consistent portrayal of unconventional characters in what is often sighted as off-beat cinema. Richa Chadda was born on 28 December 1988 and brought up in Delhi. After completing her schooling from Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, she graduated with a bachelors in History from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. Richa began her career as a model and then she moved to theater. She has performed plays touring in India and Pakistan. Later, she also received her training under Barry John.
She made her bollywood debut in the comedy-drama film Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! (2008). Inspite of favorable reviews in the debut film, her major breakthrough came only in 2012 with a two-part series crime film Gangs of Wasseypur.
