AJ Lee was born on 19 March 1987 in Union City New Jersey, United States. Her full name is April Jeanette Mendez, AJ Lee completed her graduation from Memorial High School. Aj Lee then started to build her career as a famous wrestler and she become the King and Queen of the Ring in 2009 WSU tournament. Aj Mendez then started to build up her career in WWE and she appeared in the ring as April Lee. In 2010 She won the Queen of FCW title by defeating one of the famous wrestler Serena Mancini. Aj then become the champion of FCW but was later lose the title to Rosa Mendes. Aj Mendaz then took participate in the third season of NXT and she become the favorite wrestler for the fans in NXT.

In 2011 she started to appeared on Smackdown that is also a WWE teritory and she made her debut along with Kaitlyn as a Tag partner for the fights, they both was called as Chickbusters. Later Bryan defend her title at WrestleMania 28 and got defeated by Sheamus in just 18 seconds and lose the title just because of Aj Lee who distracted Daniel after giving her Good Luck Kiss. Bryan blames Aj for the lose of his title and their relationship was ended at that moment. Aj then started to work on her career and many Titles thereafter. In 2013 she won a battle royal match to got an opportunity to become number one contender for Divas Championship and was later won her first Divas title by defeating Kaitlyn. After working for many years in WWE she finally got retired from the wrestling in February 2015.
